Sound & Music In Films

If you were to watch a scene from a movie with no sound, it would sound super dry, empty and boring even if there is no dialogue.  Without ambiance, and small details like clothes rustling, or footsteps, we would not be able to get the whole experience from a motion picture.  These are the things that can effectively tie audio and visuals together.  Then music can help set the mood and amplify the emotion or the situation of a character within a scene.  Something that I find to be very interesting besides composing, and mixing for film is foley.
