Getting Started & Social Medias Relevance

One of my main discoveries is that as an aspiring audio professional you need to start building some sort of an image of yourself on social media.  Especially on Instagram, and TikTok, this won’t only be a great way to start, but it will also be a great way to find clients. Here is an interesting and insightful read about this.

In today's world if you want your music to be heard, or if you're serious about making a career out of producing, and engineering there isn’t any way of avoiding this.  Being able to make good beats just isn't enough, even though that is technically the most important part of the job next to the input you are able to deliver as a producer when you're working with artists to turn a beat into an actual record.  This way you are able to connect with local artists, and actually start building something cool.  And according to one of my main sources of inspiration, Metro Boomin, this is one of the best ways to get your foot in the door. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/h0BKBnwEH5Y

Also this is helpful when one is searching for an apprenticeship.  Sites like beat stars, and sound better are also great if you are looking to get placements, but again that also ties into the social media game if you want people to come across your beats.
